For this project, you will learn the process of creating a clay sculpture of a character.

 This could be an animal, person, creature, or something never before seen. Get creative and put some eyes on something and all of a sudden people may start falling in love with it. :) The goal is to make multiple creatures from the same family line.

Investigate - I can investigate and come up with a plan to create a well-constructed and unique clay character.

1. Sketch it out! Or just go for it.

2. Begin building pieces with clay carving and adding where clay is needed for your character.

3. Carve and shape it.

4. Bisque fire it when done.

5. Paint the character with acrylic paint.
