Procreate

For this project, you will be using Procreate to create some artwork that relates to an imaginary band that you come up with.

Use ProCreate or Pixlr to complete the next assignment: https://pixlr.com/e/

Instructions: This week, you will be using the principles of design and your understanding of marketing to brainstorm and create a logo, CD slot, and CD cover for a band. You are responsible for the name of the band, the genre of music, the name of the album, and the look of the band logo. Your design depends on the audience who listens to your band!
I would suggest doing some research on what the album art from some of your favorite bands looks like. To get a feel for the market. This could look like just your Googling album art. You should use Pixlr to design the logo, CD slot, and CD cover.
For the CD Cover here is a resource on how to create the circle from the CD:

The CD slot should be a square, around 5 inches by 5 inches (just guess). The CD cover should be a circle, around 5 inches in diameter (again, just guess). Both the CD slot and the CD cover should have the band's logo on them. Don't forget to make up an album name and put that on the CD cover and slot!
When you are finished with your band's logo, CD slot, and CD cover, export the final files as jpegs or pngs.
Come back to this assignment and download the LINKED document. Then open up the Album Art Design & Justification worksheet. The document can be copied here -https://docs.google.com/document/d/1dfeOh52_Q6c-qDTA3CZk2vT-cGi9N7Nf4ktw2gtxa0I/edit?usp=sharing
Insert the jpg/png of your album art into the document, and answer the 4 questions listed.
Once you have completed the work above open up this assignment and attach your document and press submit.
